30th July 2020 | 6pm-7:30pm EST
Join us to find support and process some of the grief and racial battle fatigue that come with navigating the recent wave of structural violence. Drawing on the Contemplating 400 Years of Inequality Experience, this community gathering will draw on research and practices at the intersection of mindfulness, intergenerational trauma and healing. We will briefly look at the 400 Years of Inequality timeline as a contemplative tool for deepening conversations about structural inequality, historical literacy, community resiliency and social justice. Using break out rooms and collective dialogue, we will support each other during this difficult time in our history.
This space is for Black, Indigenous and People of Color. Space for all will be held at a different time. We will open space for others at a different time.
A ZOOM link will be sent before the gathering.
You can also find the link in the unique Online Event Page for this event within Eventbrite.
