OVERVIEW

After teaching courses on Healing-Centered Education to the public, we got a sense for the profound need in our community for more spaces to engage in healing modalities. This course experience invites participants into a three - week practice intensive. Expert practitioners from the healing arts will join us to facilitate sessions that will enable us to engage in personal healing work. We are honored to be joined by Solana Booth who will be our Healer-in-Residence. She will guide us throughout this journey and teach us how to nurture a sense of restoration and healing for ourselves and the next nine generations.

Curated by Dr. Angel Acosta and supported by a robust course digital infrastructure, this course supports participants with taking a deep dive into embodied somatic practices and other healing-centered modalities. Below are some of the questions we will explore through practice:

  • How can storytelling become form of healing?

  • How do we strengthen our connections to our bodies in order to tap into our innate somatic wisdom?

  • How does engaging in healing-work through community amplify or deepen personal growth & restoration?

  • How do we engage in intergenerational healing?

  • How can we better embody a healing-centered approach in our personal & self-work practice?

  • How does engaging in personal healing work impact our professional calling & vocation?
